„Flags – Motion – Music” – Programmes of the National Dance Theatre on 15 March

On the occasion of our national holiday, the National Dance Theatre, too, will open its doors to visitors and will await them with free programmes all day long. The genre of modern dance with a tradition of 100 years, an art form of movement which is specific to Hungary, will be introduced on the grassy patch outside the dance theatre. Those interested may also take part in some training in the gallery of the building. In the two exhibition rooms of the Dance Theatre, visitors may view the exhibition entitled Flags in Pictures of the Society of Hungarian Fine Arts and Crafts and a photo exhibition inspired by jazz.

Flags in Pictures – Exhibition of the Society of Hungarian Fine Arts and Crafts in the Gallery of the National Dance Theatre.
Jazz photos – a selection of photos taken at the Bánk Louis Armstrong Jazz Festival in the ambulatories of the National Dance Theatre. Artistic director: János Eifert.
12.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. Eurhythmics show
In the afternoon, the audience may view the brief performances of the Hungarian Society of Eurhythmics and the performance of the Movement Choir, and may also attend open eurhythmics classes. Events will commence every hour.
