State awards ceremony in Parliament’s Cupola Hall

On 15 March, on the occasion of the beginning of the 1848/1849 Revolution and Freedom Fight and the day of the birth of modern parliamentary Hungary, Hungary’s most prestigious awards in recognition of outstanding performance in the fields of science and culture are presented in the Cupola Hall of the Parliament Building.

The awards will be presented by President of the Republic János Áder upon the recommendation of Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
